Campaign Against Drug Abuse and Cultism
The fight against drug abuse and cultism among youth is a critical issue that requires collective action from families, schools, government agencies, and communities. Drug abuse leads to addiction, poor health, academic failure, and criminal activities, while cultism promotes violence, lawlessness, and a breakdown of moral values. Both issues pose significant threats to the future of young people and society at large. Through trying different interventions, IYACODI has identified one of the most effective ways to combat drug abuse and cultism which is through awareness campaigns. Also, educational programs in schools and communities has helped to inform young people about the dangers of substance abuse and gang involvement. IYACODI employs the use of public service announcements, social media advocacy, and seminars featuring former addicts and cult member as powerful tools in discouraging these acts. IYACODI partners with law enforcement agencies to discourage the use of drugs and involvement in cultism. By creating a drug-free and violence-free environment, we can safeguard the future of our youth and ensure a healthier, more prosperous society.
